Photography Musings

Photography in the 21st century is a wonderful thing.

In the past century, people used ‘film’ to record images. The strangest thing about old photography, you had to wait and develop your ‘film’ before you could see your pictures. How wild is that?
Yes, today’s cameras make photography quite easy. Taking a picture costs nothing, and you have the ability to review a picture immediately after taking it. If old Aunt Edna has her eyes closed or is drooling, well, take another picture (after cleaning up the drool).

Now that you’ve mastered point-n-shoot photography, lets move on and start capturing even better photographs. Pictures that are more than mug shots or proof that you actually stood in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Photography Is…
Adding light
The whole picture
Control
The ‘file’
